The present article is an approach to a very interesting theme into the context of the teacherscontemporary formation: the design, development, evaluation and tracing of an electronicteaching portfolio. The text aims to share the experience lived by the author during the realizationof this complex task. It begins by analyzing some of the prominent concepts about academicportfolios. It later describes the principal characteristics of the teaching portfolio made by theauthor, which manifests an evident reflective and formative orientation. Afterwards it exposesthe methodological strategy assumed (an applied, evaluative case study). Subsequently, itpresents the outstanding results derived of a questionnaire applied on line to the visitors ofthe Web site and concludes emphasizing the need to evaluate this kind of tecnopedagogicalinstruments in a sistematic and rigorous way.Downloads
