Teacher training history teaching public policies in BrazilAbstract
In the second decade of the 21st century, an emphasis on policies for the training of teachers is observed in Brazilian society. This emphasis is not separated from a process of internationalization of Brazilian education, where the centrality of the debate is in both education and development. The present work focuses on presenting a synthesis of the proposals for the formation of a history teacher in Brazil, from the reading of official documents, arising from educational policies historically determined as presupposing the debate on the separation of theoretical training and practical training. Results show the deflation of theoretical training, of the appreciation of the specific contents to the detriment of a practical training that does not take into account the importance of the social function of education and purpose of History for the formation of the critical citizen.
